The tower of Barbarossa is the symbol of Seregno and is characterized by a Guelph style. Legend has it that Emperor Frederick I, known as Barbarossa, used it as a point of observation and then deployed his army against the troops from Milan. In reality it seems that the Tower was the bell tower of the ancient church of San Vittore in Seregno. Equipped with nine bells, the Tower of Barbarossa is used for concerts.
